Homestead Ranch, located at 9200 feet, is near Crawford, Colorado. The ranch sits on 2,600 deeded acres with spectacular views of surrounding mountains in western Colorado. The ranch is located within easy driving distance from three airports. Gunnison - 47 miles, Montrose - 53 miles, and Grand Junction - 103 miles. We will pick up guests at any of these airports, or a rental vehicle can be arranged.
Trophy Elk Hunting
The hunt is designed around the hunter's needs. We hunt one on one with experienced guides that know these animals and the mountains they inhabit. We have very qualified guides and they will get you into position to shoot your animal. Our trophy hunts are designed for 100% success and your satisfaction. We use four wheel drive vehicles, and ATV's for transportation around the ranch. This hunting trip is usually three days.

You will be in some of the most beautiful country in Colorado. The mountain terrain with spruce, aspen, and sagebrush covered slopes with open alpine parks. There is nothing like hearing the bugle of bull elk outside your lodge bedroom. Hunting is a way of life to us, and we take that experience very seriously.
